Bible World welcomes its first group of Lebanese children
Beirut - LEBANON: The recently
opened Bible World at BS-Lebanon welcomed its first official
school-children visit during the second week of November 200

have visited Bible World," said
As each child leaves Bible World with a copy of the Bible World
booklet and the Scriptures, they are also taking with them a
unique experience that will change their view towards the Word of
God. These are follow-up comments from the visitors of Bible World last week: Sister Yasmine Mouawad, supervisor at St. Therese School - Dar Ba'ashtar said: "Bible World is a "world" that every person must experience. It takes the children back to the basics and makes them re-live the world in which the Bible came to be." Children from that same school said:
Josaine Hamzeh: "I learnt how the Bible came to us within a clear
time-frame - from creation to Jesus...it teaches us about Jesus." Rita Ghosn: "The Bible World experience showed me how important the Bible is to me because it will lead me away from sin and towards Jesus." Jinane Farah: "I was moved and excited after I visited the Bible World; reading the Bible will strengthen my faith and love for God." Elia Jabbour: "This experience has encouraged me to read the Bible and to get to know God more." Elie Tannous: "Bible World has strengthened my faith in God's existence; I will never doubt Him again." Michel Antoun: "Through Bible World, I learned about the Bible, its Old and New Testaments, and the reason why Jesus came to save us. I am very happy to read the Bible and to get to know God more." Jessica Bou Chahine: "The message I received from my visit at Bible World is God's love for mankind. I will never doubt God's existence, and I will follow the Bible's teaching - to love one another. Florence Chalouhi: "I feel attached to the Bible after this visit, and I want to read all about Jesus and the apostles." |

2. The
26 sixth-graders from a nearby local school, Christian
Teaching Institute, brought life and excitement into the
Bible House as they entered into the Center in preparation of
their Bible World experience. About six staff and volunteer
members met the enthusiastic children, dividing them into three
groups, and taking each group through the entire interactive
program. This first visit would be the test for 18 months of
preparation and prayer.

hold all these active children without falling apart? These were
just a few questions that raced through our minds as the children
completed their two-hour visit. But all these fears were gone when
we saw the reaction on the faces of the children as
they interchanged from one room to another. This was further
reinforced with the evaluation received from the attending teacher;
the positive and encouraging remarks confirmed to BS-Lebanon staff
that the Bible World would be one of the most effective Bible
engagement program for Lebanese children

"We expect to reach 500 children before Christmas vacation. A couple of
churches have also arranged their Sunday School classes to visit the Bible
World over the weekends, and many schools have already booked their
visitation dates after Christmas vacation. We expect great results and
changed lives as a result of this Scripture-interaction experience."
